In Puglia we managed to achieve my perfect balance of local exploration, utter relaxation and fun for the kids. We stayed at the rather lavish Borgo Egnazia which is so beautiful it was hard to tear ourselves away from the hotel. But each day we spent a few hours exploring Puglia’s lesser-known spots, wild beaches, hilltop towns and local cafés. This was a real high-low holiday and the itinerary would work just as well from any accommodation in the same area. I hope you fall in love with Puglia as much we did.
